Shecko

Shecko
It lays in trees with its mouth wide open to expose the bright light inside its body. This light draws in insects and other small creatures so that they can be shocked by its tongue. If a predator gets too close,  it stands on its stands on its back legs and flashes its belly in an attempt to scare it way.

It is based on a gecko (partially the Tokay Gecko). Its habit of exposing its belly come from the unken reflex found in certain amphibians.
