Cephlopire

At night, it spreads out its body and takes flight. It communicates using the lights on its face. Underneath its cloak is its true mouth, which is filled with razor sharp teeth which it uses to attack. Intense sunlight weakens it. 

It is based on a vampire squid with aspects from actual vampires.
